Unissued Dutch DPM M65 Field Shirt

Ah, cher ami, sit down please, we must confess what is so wonderful about these Royal Dutch Army Field Shirts. My friend, you've chosen well, the Dutch shrewd as they are, "borrowed" from the Brit's DPM pattern. While we've all needed to look off someone else test from time to time, they couldn't help but impose that mild cosmopolitan feature that oppresses these streets and canals. Indeed, with richer greens and browns, this camouflage doesn't hide, it murmurs obsequiously and excuses you from sight. 

Worn? Yes, but aren't we all? Onlookers will see how each and every feature, the reinforced elbows, the weathered buttons, and the so subtly fatigued fabrics express a commitment to that solemn duty, never kept, likely not by you at the very least; but we can't blame you. The absurdity can be much, yes, but to wear this shirt knowingly, ignorant of their very language, having not served in their forces now or ever; to smile at the indifference of the universe and the nebulousness of the other is to cloak yourself in a revolt. You will wear this shirt without illusion or false pretense, and you'll wear it well.
