US Navy N1 Deck Coveralls were the iconic counterpart of the Navy's venerable N1 Deck Jacket. Designed to keep sailors protected in challenging conditions across the world, these Italian dupes were built to that same standard. Heavy cotton canvas shell, wool lining, adjustable suspenders, button-close ankle cuffs. From a stylistic perspective, these are a physical manifestation of the rugged and practical mindset that won WWII. The Italian Navy's version is about as close to the original as surplus can be, built just like the original USGI examples.Ā
Constructed from heavy canvas, the large "front butt" pockets and wool lining make these a no brainer for outdoor activities ranging from hunting, home repair, or even braving the high seas if you're into that kind of thing...
